Expert Analysis
Cedric Cobb | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Addison is a true inside-outside threat who can impact the game in multiple ways. She’s comfortable playing in the post but can also step out and knock down perimeter shots, which makes her difficult to guard. A dual-sport athlete headed to Rutgers for volleyball, her athleticism and coordination show up on the basketball court.

is an outstanding Center that despite her terrific skill in basketball, her leadership and communication was even more impressive. She is solid in the paint on offense. She is constantly facing double teams and she can either score off of post moves or hit open players with excellent passes. She is a terrific rim protector, altering shots, blocking shots, and forcing players to give up on the drive to the basket because of her presence. She is Region Player of the Year, and could play Division I basketball in my opinion, but apparently Wiemann is playing Division I Volleyball instead.

Wiemann is one of the premier post players in the state, and at times, she’s flat-out unguardable. She has real polish on the block — footwork, touch, patience — and she doesn’t rush her work. What separates Wiemann is her versatility. She can score with her back to the basket, face up, and step out to knock down perimeter shots. That forces opposing bigs into uncomfortable spots. If she establishes position early and stays out of foul trouble, she can control a game from the paint outward.

Wiemann battled all night and showed her versatility as a post. She scored from multiple spots on the floor, from the right elbow to the block, and even stepped out to knock down perimeter shots. Despite facing consistent double teams, she stayed aggressive and poised. Her ability to stretch the floor makes her a difficult matchup for any opposing frontcourt.

Wiemann has developed her overall offensive game quite a bit over time. She is now a bona fide inside/out threat with the ball. Addison is also among the better rebounders in the class.

From the beginning of the game, it was clear what the biggest goal for the Mustangs on the night was. That was to play through Wiemann on both ends of the court.
The 6’2” post dominated the game by rolling off screens to the middle of the paint and finishing inside. She did a great job as well at absorbing contact to draw fouls. She showcased her ability to space the floor and knocked down deep shots from the perimeter. Late in the game on a free throw, she picked up her 1,000th career point.

The two-sport star has a ton of upside, and she is steadily improving. She’s a true post presence that commands attention on both ends of the court. Addison is a high-volume rebounder and a good shot blocker. She will surprise you and step out and hit the three pointers as well.

Wiemann is a multi-sport athlete with plus size at 6’2″ and a balanced overall game at the center position. She comes in as our number four ranked center in the class of 2026 and sits in the top 15 overall.
In 32 games, she averaged 14.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. She also chipped in with 1.2 assists per game and made some impressive reads.
Wiemann is a player to watch this season and she should pick up more momentum in a larger role as a junior at Sunrise Mountain.
