Coleman, in a recent summer tournament, displayed her skills in the defensive department. She has great lateral movement for her size and is good at reacting when an opponent makes a move into the interior. In that space, Coleman times shot attempts well, allowing her to get a good shot contest and blocks. She is also an elite rebounder at the SF position.

Offensively, Coleman is a capable jump shooter. One of her main strengths is driving to her right. She has a good touch on her shot near the right block and is able to set up opportunities to get these shots with pump fakes and hesitation moves.
