Class of 2028: Small Forwards Outside Top 100 To Know

The small forward position in the class of 2028 has some elite-level players. Outside of the top 100 players in the class their are small forwards who have the potential to be among the best in their class at the position by the time they graduate. Here are five SFs either unranked or outside the top 100 who could do just that.    [player_tooltip player_id='1155094' first='Mary' last='Grace Cleek'] had a great sophomore season.   Cleek is an alert scorer. There is not a lot of hesitancy in her game. If she finds open space to shoot, she will take it. One of her favorite areas on the floor to score from is the mid-range. She is efficient scoring from there. Also, going back to her alertness on the offensive end, she is a good cutter. When she is passed to on a cut, she is good at getting a shot up quickly to avoid opposing players' contests.       [player_tooltip player_id='1213762' first='Madisyn' last='Hill'] constantly makes the right play.   Hill, on offense, mainly operates out of the wing. From there, she often waits for enough space to shoot her high-level perimeter jumper. This is the main weapon of her offensive game, but there are other layers. She can dribble into the arc and get to the elbow for a midrange jumper. Or she can even attack the basket for a postup bucket or close-range jumper.   Hill is also an extremely unselfish player. She sees the floor well, and if a teammate is open, she can snap a pass over to them immediately upon receiving the ball. Her all-around game has the capability of pushing her up the Prep Girls Hoops Rankings in the future.     [player_tooltip player_id='1817545' first='Addy' last='Coleman'] at the SF position has the game to play more of the role of a PF/C if need be.   Coleman, in a recent summer tournament, displayed her skills in the defensive department. She has great lateral movement for her size and is good at reacting when an opponent makes a move into the interior. In that space, Coleman times shot attempts well, allowing her to get a good shot contest and blocks. She is also an elite rebounder at the SF position.   Offensively, Coleman is a capable jump shooter. One of her main strengths is driving to her right. She has a good touch on her shot near the right block and is able to set up opportunities to get these shots with pump fakes and hesitation moves.     The first thing that stands out about [player_tooltip player_id='1248877' first='Brooklyn' last='Brown'] is her ability to defend multiple positions.   In some games, Brown can guard positions 1-4. She is able to stick with guards with her discipline and foot speed at her size. She does a great job at not biting at the dribble moves guards try on her that would get many other players at her position off balance. Her ability to minimize the space players can create against her makes her both an above-average shot blocker and a steal threat.   On offense, Brown is good at pushing the ball up the court in transition and also has a good 3-point jumper.     [player_tooltip player_id='1445589' first='Evie' last='Pulley'] showcased a good complementary skillset in her sophomore season.   Pulley can shoot 3-pointers well and also defend on the perimeter well. She is a good catch-and-shoot threat, with good arc on her shot.   Pulley in regard to her defense, plays passing lanes well. If an opposing player makes a weak pass, she has no issue turning that play into a turnover. In a game against Franklin Christian Academy last season, Pulley had three steals, all coming from her jumping the passing lane.
