I don’t think any of our scouts had actually gotten to see Heatherly before these rankings were set, but after watching her play in person, she’s easily a top 15 player (and I believe even higher than that). For starters, she’s a true competitor. Her mindset and attitude are second to none. When she steps on the floor, it’s all business, whether she’s there for practice, training, or games. She gives 110% and is a leader. Heatherly has a excellent basketball IQ, strong handles, and is a great passer. She can also score inside or out.

Heatherly was one of my biggest standouts on Saturday because she caught my attention with her leadership before I ever even saw her skills. She was very vocal and ready to do whatever was asked of her. She also attacked every drill with the same intensity she would for a game. There was no half effort from Heatherly, it was always 110% and that alone was impressive. Her skillset only added to that as she could do a little bit of everything. Heatherly is another player I haven’t watched nearly as much as I’d like to, but her skills are undeniable. She can do a little bit of everything when she’s on the court and it’s not abnormal to see her put up good stats in nearly every category (points, rebounds, steals, blocks, assists, etc). Heatherly has a knack for the ball and you can rely on her to play hard every single game. Defensively, she reads the passing lanes and keeps her head on a swivel. She also puts herself in really good positions, and does a great job of staying straight up, to block shots. Offensively, she can handle the ball and her passing ability is really strong. She sees the floor and delivers the ball so well. Heatherly is also a scoring threat and should have a big freshman season ahead.
