Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m often times described by my coaches as a high IQ player, with great ball handling versatile scoring ability both mid and long range. Use balance of speed and aggressiveness to drive through defense to get to the basket. Balance pass vs shoot decisions, and knowing how to set up my teammates for good opportunities on offense. On defense strive to go after rebounds, jump balls and steals.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am able to play well under pressure and do my best to bring positive energy and encourage my teammates on and off court. I enjoy a good challenge in playing tough teams as it helps me grow in my game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes involved in school activities, track and field, accelerated math courses, and other extra curricular activities. Involved with National Charity League.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Per my last years AAU coach…”Adrianna is a natural leader. She leads by example, demonstrating discipline, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude in all situations. Whether rallying her teammates after a tough game or pushing herself through intense training, she consistently displays the mindset of a champion.” Off the court I give back to our community by Volunteering.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Just two weeks before the state tournament last year, a basketball game brought my season to a sudden end. I suffered a broken wrist/ thumb. While the physical recovery was fairly quick, the mental challenges lingered. Each time I drove to the basket, the pain flashed in my mind. Thankfully, with the unwavering support of my family, coaches, & teammates, I was able to overcome those mental blocks.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that will help me fulfill my academic goals, and athletic aspirations. Seeking a school with a strong athletic programs, competitive training environments, huge focus on culture, community and professional opportunities.
