of Centerville High School posted one of the most impressive stat lines I’ve seen in a few months this past week with her performance against Davis County. In her efforts, Howard competed at the Forward position and she OWNED the glass on both sides of the court. She finished off the night with 16 Points, 24 Rebounds, and 4 Steals, among some other small positive stats. Centerville’s motor the past few seasons has been Howard so that she is leading this group is not a surprise but to post a stat line with over 20 rebounds is noteworthy. If she keeps up with just half of this production, she will finish off her Senior season with one of the best stat lines that the state of Iowa has to offer this Winter.

is the heart and soul of her Centerville squad, and for good reason. As a junior last season she averaged 15 points and 13.6 rebounds, and I predict she’ll be putting up these same impressive stats as a senior. Despite facing double teams up and down the court, Adriana has been able to use her long reach to shoot over defenders. When she’s not double teamed, she’s more than capable of taking her defender one on one off the dribble from the high post.

of Centerville High School is going to look back at her high school career and be amazed at some of the numbers she averaged throughout her time during high school. As of most recent, Howard averaged 15.5 PPG as a Junior on the Varsity floor, while also grabbing right around 14 RPG at the same time. This number led the state of Iowa in the 3A Class last Winter, behind only one other prospect that happens to be D1 committed in another sport for the collegiate level. Howard should put up big numbers one more time throughout her high school career but we will just have to see how everything’s play out.
