The Bobcats’ girls basketball program lost Lexie Ransom Lexie Ransom 5'5" | SG Natrona County | 2024 SC to Natrona County in Casper, Wyoming. The Bobcats’ girls basketball program gained this star veteran who arrives at Seneca from – a bit closer than Wyoming – Legacy Early College to be exact. Chaney’s arrival is actually a return given she previously sported Bobcats colors in her freshman and sophomore seasons. She also has experience with FBC Carolina Hawks Parks 2023 on the grassroots circuit. Chaney is a gifted runner of the floor and has also made positive developments as a defender. At a towering 6-foot-2, she is an asset for any team, particularly in its frontcourt.

The Bobcats’ gain is serving as Legacy Early College’s loss as Chaney will trade Lions purple and gold for Seneca’s blue and gold. She is listed at 6-foot-2 and proves herself to be an asset in any team’s frontcourt. Chaney also ran previously grassroots with FBC Carolina Hawks Parks 2023. In addition to being an efficient runner of the floor, she proves her prowess in said frontcourt with what she does in the painted area. Chaney has also made strides in her defensive game. Chaney previously was at Seneca in her freshman and sophomore seasons and she looks to be a worthwhile re-addition to the 3A Bobcats.
