After a pair of seasons where Seneca competed in the 4A ranks, the Bobcats are set to return to 3A beginning with the upcoming season. One can place Floyd in a team’s starting five as either a two guard or at the point. The ability to attack and convert on high-percentage shots is central to her game but a 3-point shot is part of her overall offensive repertoire. Floyd is also a super ball distributor who understands when to score and when to pass. She would play in all 27 games last season while averaging 11.9 points, 5.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game. Floyd was one of five 2027s on last season’s Seneca team.

For much of the second half, Floyd had to play through foul trouble as she accumulated her fourth personal in the third quarter. The veteran guard for 4A Seneca still did that to the tune of 15 points for her Bobcats. Floyd displays the ability to handle the rock with either hand in addition to the ability to set up an offense in a half court set. The floor general that is Floyd also understands how to find attacking lanes to the cup and is willing to draw contact that will place her at the free throw line. Floyd also knows which situations are ideal for scoring and which are so for ball distribution.

Floyd was not to be toyed with in 2024-25 as she averaged 11.5 points, 3.8 assists and 1.6 steals in what was a resurgent season at Seneca. In many ways, last season was a year of first for the Bobcats – first season in 4A after a long time in 3A, first season of the Anne-Hamilton LeRoy era and their first season posting a double-digit win total since 2019-20. Floyd is anything but shy about attempting 3-pointers and will get herself in position to corral plenty of rebounds. Floyd is fresh off a club season where she played up in class with FBC NextUp E40 17U Frazier. She was part of Team Johnson which won the 5-on-5 championship this past weekend.
