About Alaina

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Alaina strives to be the best at whatever the task at hand. She is very even-keeled yet will push herself to outwork anyone.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Alaina is on the Hill Murray volleyball and track teams in addition to basketball. She is a letter winner as a freshman. She was selected as the prestigious Martinson Award recipient for her 8th grade graduating class as chosen by school faculty! Alaina won the 9 hole girls golf league in the summer of 2023. Alaina also competes in club volleyball and AAU basketball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Alaina has mastered time management skills balancing overlapping sports schedules in order to be a 3 sport athlete all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. She is driven, focused and determined to excel at whatever she puts her mind too. She even finds time to give back to the community thru volunteering initiatives at her school. She is kind to all and enjoys bringing people together.

Savre did a nice job of playing her role Sunday on a very talented team with a handful of major impact players who played a similar position to her. She’s strong attacking the glass and makes impact plays defensively while seeing opportunities for cuts and attack to the rim on offense. She’ll be an interesting player to track over the next several years.
