Hankerson is a talented guard who can dribble through any defense. She has great speed and strong handles as well. Hankerson takes care of the basketball and scores with a burst of speed or draws the defense and kicks to an open teammate. Hankerson has an outstanding feel for the game. She knows when to slow the pace and when to push the basketball. Hankerson is a leader on the court who is ready for an exceptional senior season on the floor with her squad.

is fun to watch. She makes positive things happen on the basketball court. She can score with exceptional speed at the rim or she can pull up and drain a midrange jump shot. Hankerson can score in a variety of ways. She can also pass. Hankerson will get in the paint, draw multiple defenders, and drop a dime to one of her teammates. She is a talented guard ready for a spectacular summer.

Alana Hankerson was exceptional handling the ball for her 1 of 1 Prep team this past year always keeping her eyes peeled and knowing the next play to make. She is constantly moving both with and without the ball shifting the defense and finding the open lane or teammate. She can definitely knock down her own shot from deep, and she has no trouble attacking the basket.

Alana Hankerson is nice with her handles, and she’s fun to watch on the full court press getting her hands in the way. As a guard, she even got some nice over the back calls with her stellar box out on defense. Her shot fakes are sure to get defenders off their feet as she gets around them pulling up for a jumper. She seemed to be a magnet for the ball on defense being able to tie it up inhibiting her opponents from getting a play going.

Alana Hankerson has really found her rhythm with 1 of 1 this year. She knows how to explode to the basket rolling the ball off her fingertips, and she makes plays drawing defenders to her creating space for her teammates. She can certainly pull up for her own shot, and she’s feisty on defense keeping her opponents in front of her blocking their paths to the basket.

Alana Hankerson was doing a nice job facilitating the offensive plays handling the ball and finding her open teammates. She was constantly directing her teammates where to go to get an offensive set going. She was so effective weaving in and out of her opponents on fast breaks getting to the rim. She makes such effective passes even running at full speed finding the right target.

Alana Hankerson had her own three point play scoring through contact after making a nice cut to the basket and forcing her defender to foul her trying to prevent her from scoring. She is feisty attacking the gaps looking for the openings, and she doesn’t back down from defenders trying to block her path. She can certainly knock down her shot from deep, and she serves as a dangerous defender stripping the ball away from her opponents.
