Howard highlights keep popping up on my notifications and although I haven’t seen her LIVE since she entered high school, watching her in a few Individual Showcases told me a lot. She’s just under “the magic number” plus not only is she “long and athletic” she’s strong and athletic” with some serious upside see evaluation here

#19 Howard made @GoCoachMo SHOOTERS Tip Sheet from a Prep Girls Hoop event back in May see evaluation here and I had a chance to catch her not once see evaluation here but twice, see evaluation here back to back weekends. She has a very high ceiling because not only can she shoot from outside, but she mixes it up using the step back to drop the jumper but also handled the ball in the open court after rebounding to drop the “stop and pop”

Howard is “long and athletic” which is the base and a shade under “the magic number” yet her intangibles are nice because she plays the passing lane and can score multiple ways starting with the jumper, step back included. She also scored off the dribble and around the basket yet she rebounded and played solid defense in the paint and picked some pockets outside of it

could easily align in a different category because she checks a lot of boxes. Long frame, excellent mobility, great hands, can defend 1-5, and shot the long ball so well we couldn’t leave her out of the best shooters of the weekend. The upside is huge. This 2028 player is really good today, but there is no limit to what could be in her future.
