About Alanna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Very fast paced but also very controlled, attacking at all times.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a go getter, if I want something, I will work at it and try my best every single day.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I taught little kids how to play basketball last year with my old team, at citizens elementary school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've developed leadership, being a leader on the team means so much to me, I love to push my teammates each and everyday to become better.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to go to a top college, but also a college that I fit into. I can embrace my roll and help the team in any way I can.

What a big influence Colon is to the team; she’s a major factor as a part of the team’s 1-2 scoring punch. Alanna has the capability to have a high scoring game in any matchup. She’s quite confident and will let it fly without hesitation. On top of that, Colon has shown she can catch fire quick. She injects a considerable amount of energy into the squad with every made basket.

Alanna can be such a forceful guard that can help lift her team at any point with a healthy long-range shot and hard-hitting combos off the dribble. Colon is a shot-seeker with the ball in her hands, but she does possess the ability to knock down shots as teammates kick out looking for an outlet on the perimeter. Her quick burst of speed allows her to get the edge over many defenders. It’s likely Alanna moves up in the upcoming rankings, keep an eye out for her new positioning.
