+67 – No player is making a bigger leap this month than Hardy. Having entered the rankings for the first time back in June, we provisionally placed her in the 130s. Standing at an impressive 6-foot-3, the potential for the next level was obvious, but we wanted to see how the rest of Alayna’s AAU season would play out. As expected, a number of coaches began to take notice of the Southern MN Fury post, seeing the substantial long-term potential. A consistent finisher around the rim and skilled shot blocker, Alayna made great strides in her junior season, averaging 10.8 points and 7.2 rebounds a game for Winona Cotter. After announcing her commitment to Division 2 Bemidji State back in August, Hardy now moves up 67 spots, placing her at #64 in the class.
