About Alayna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A small point guard that plays bigger than her size. Exceptional court awareness and ball-handling skills. Has the ability to find her teammates when open and a strong passer. A few moves in her bag for getting to the rim and driving while also being a threat beyond the arc. Uplifting and encouraging to teammates. Shows leadership on the court. Willing to put in the extra work!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

A charismatic and bubbly young being with a lot of energy, that extends outside of herself. Looks to "hype up" her teammates or those around her. Very passionate about anything she loves to do, and a HARD worker!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honor Roll 4.0 GPA

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that I feel is a good fit for me, to play the next level of basketball while pursuing my education; to obtain my college degree in whatever field I decide to choose. Would like a basketball coach that's philosophies and styles align with my own and a coach that is looking to push me to reach my max potential, on and off the court!

Alayna has the basketball IQ, instincts, effort, and fundamental skills of a college point guard. Her performance on both ends helped Team Fever have a successful day at the Headliners Invitational. She jumped into the passing lanes to grab steals and made a perfect lob-entry pass into the low post for an assist. Alayna changed directions with a quick double-crossover dribble to beat her defender and pushed the ball with pace using both hands in transition. One of her best moments was when she set her defender up using a crossover, between-the-legs dribble combination, blew by through the gap, and finished with a soft touch off the glass through contact. Glen Lake will be a tough team to beat this winter, and Alayna looks ready to have an outstanding junior season.
