Alaynah was clutch for Fraser during their comeback win in the Regional Finals. Alayna went back to the well, blew by again using an explosive crossover dribble, then scored through contact for the and-one scoop at the rim. She turned a two-point play into five, chasing down her missed free throw, then drilling a confident pull-up jumper from beyond the arc. Alaynah switched hands effectively and drove downhill with a burst to earn multiple trips to the charity stripe. She attacked down the baseline and shoveled a great dump-off pass for an assist. With time running out, Alaynah transformed into Wonder Woman for the Ramblers, sinking a go-ahead three-pointer from way downtown off the bounce. She drained two key free throws to extend Fraser’s lead to 44-41 with 30.7 seconds left. Alaynah paced the Ramblers with 15 points (2 3PT) and scored eight in the fourth quarter.

Alaynah paced Fraser during a 52-33 win over Port Huron Northern, scoring 21 points. She reached 1,000 career points in the process and was recently named the MAC Blue League MVP, leading the Ramblers to another conference title.

Alaynah has quickness, shifty ball-handling, court vision, and finishing dexterity that leaves a lasting impression when you watch her compete. She’s the court general at Fraser and does an exceptional job of facilitating the offense. Alaynah has an IQ and multidimensional impact that I see translating to the next level. Alaynah was a wizard with the ball at the Compound on Monday. She changed directions suddenly, using a spin dribble to cause a foul and used a sweet behind-the-back dribble to get downhill before dishing a great dump-off pass for the assist. Alaynah drilled a corner jumper and zipped one-handed passes to open teammates. She put English on the ball to score a layup from a difficult angle and blew by a defender using another behind-the-back move, then transferred the ball quickly to her shooting hand. Alaynah made many accurate no-look passes and knocked down free throws. She creates space from defenders with her crafty crossover combinations and is an excellent facilitator. Her toughness showed as she continued to compete to the very end despite injury. Alaynah will be a lead guard to watch for Fraser.

Alaynah is an exciting point guard to watch and she earned All-Conference Honors as a sophomore at Fraser. She creates separation from defenders using a variety of quick-twitch combination dribbles and attacks with a burst downhill. Alaynah sets up her teammates very well by attacking help defenders with her eyes up and dishing accurate passes for assists. Alaynah finishes difficult angled shots around the basket and hits clutch 3s for her team. She will be a top guard in the conference in 2024.
