Gonzales has been consistently impressing me this season both in person and via the tele, well computer, and seeing her go AFTA everything off the rim as well as loose balls, in the air as well as on the floor, never gets old because I love seeing players doing things that you can’t teach, well with that being said she plays the passing lane. She’s a “long and athletic” guard who finishes strongly after contact

Gonzales showed she could change the momentum from both ends of the court and her energy on the offensive and defensive side trickled over to her teammates. Her slight HEZ was nice, it got the defender to lean so she could score off the dribble, body control helped her complete it after contact but she also saw the floor while attacking and made tough passes look easy for scoring opportunities. Her “on the ball” defense needs to be mentioned because it helped lead to turnovers

Gonzales showed me a lot off the top and her playing the passing lane immediately grabbed my attention. She also did a good job defending both in the set as well as baseline to baseline, she hit the boards and handled the ball afterward, went coast to coast a few times to score or dish yet her court vision stood out both in the set as well as in transition
