Rashidat Onuorah | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Alexandra plays with great pace and scoring ability. She has a strong rip-through and baseline pull-up and is effective pulling up in the mid-range after attacking the middle. She scores well in the paint and has strong passing instincts, finding open teammates for easy looks. She is active defensively, and in transition she pushes the ball and finishes at the rim.

Allie has been a consistent producer for Newton North, scoring 23 points with seven rebounds against Brookline and following it up with 13 points, nine rebounds, and six steals versus Wellesley. She has active hands on defense, picking pockets and jumping passing lanes to create fast-break opportunities. Her effort and anticipation allow her to impact the game on both ends.

Danis has a very smooth game and can put up points in a hurry. The ’26 guard is a fun watch that’s liable to have some sort of crowd-pleasing play at any point in a game. Danis is ranked top 15 at her position.

Danis averaged 12 ppg, 2.6 apg, 4.5 rpg and 2 steals on the season last year, as well as being named a Bay State League All Star. What an interesting prospect Allie is with lustrous eye-popping moves combined with smooth deceptive movements that round out a spiritous talent. Allie’s ability to command an offense can be dazzling to watch. The ballhandling can be sensational at times, but never redundant. Allie finds different ways to attack and makes on the spot adjustments based off whatever the defender is allowing. Her refined skillset is clearly a product of hard work. It’s the small intricate things in her game that standout. Her pace of play, plus her timing is decisive and can throw some good defenders off. It doesn’t take many looks to see why Allie is top 5 player at the position. Danis is ranked the #33 player overall in the class.

A crafty point guard, who plays well above her age level. She has a very smooth and fluid flow to her game. She is a shot maker, who can make shots in bunches from three point range. She has a high basketball IQ, and I was very impressed with her decision making. She also has the ability to finish at the rim, and when the defense collapsed she was able to kick it out to the open teammate. On defense she played with a good stance, she has good lateral quickness, and had active hands when jumping the passing lanes. The Newton North Tigers will be happy with having Alexandra in their program.

An athletic shifty PG that makes it look easy. Danis was a fun player to watch. I was just amazed by how easy the game came to her. She is a very smooth player who has a lot of moves to her bag. Danis will mainly look for her shot first and can hit from deep. She has a quick PUJ with great footwork that allows her to stop quickly and pull on the attack. One move that impressed me the most was when she was on a breakaway, with her defender on her hip, she used her body and inside arm to seal her defender to make a lefty one-handed scoop. As a rising freshman, and player just in general, I was very impressed with her athleticism and ability to make some great plays. Also, Danis is an unselfish player and will look inside often at her bigs. Not many players do this at the high school level anymore, and I think it attests to her as a PG, as well as her IQ. Overall, I really liked Danis’s game. Her effortlessness when completing a move is pretty impressive, and I’m excited to see her next summer when she starts to realize her potential.
