In the Valley Catholic-Horizon Christian game on 1/4, I also had the opportunity to watch Horizon’s star Alexis Dockter Alexis Dockter 5'5" | PG Horizon Christian | 2024 State OR play. Going against that tough Valiant defense, Dockter made several jaw-dropping plays over the course of the game. Scoring the majority of her team’s points, Dockter did so on a lot of impressive fadeaway jumpers, tough floaters in the paint, or quick 3-pointers that she got off with only an inch of space. She is the type of playmaker that is incredibly fun to watch. Despite carrying the bulk of the scoring load, Dockter continued to look for her teammates and made some circus cross-court passes that only certain types of players can make. Horizon may struggle to win a lot of games this season due to their lack of depth, but Dockter will no doubt continue to impress as the season wears on.
