En route to helping Copper Basin be a one-seed in the regional tournament and winning their third consecutive district title, senior Alexis Hyatt Alexis Hyatt 5'8" | SG Copper Basin | 2026 State TN is leaving behind a legacy.

Hyatt this year became the all-time leader in points in both the girls and boys programs at Copper Basin. She achieved this mark back in January. In helping her hit this milestone, night in and night out, Hyatt produces on the offensive end this season. Whether it’s making threes or finding lanes to attack the bucket, she is a reliable scorer. Hyatt is also a clutch player.

In a regular season game against Grundy County High School this season, Hyatt made a buzzer beater three to give Copper Basin a 68-65 win.

Her clutch trait will be vital given all the crucial moments that come with the postseason.

Last year, she displayed her main strength in her game, her three point shot. Hyatt has a quick release and keeps the ball high upon the catch so defenders can not block it. With her jumper, she also has a trait that many high school three-point shooters lack. That being the willingness to shoot. If Hyatt has any sort of space, she will not hesitate to let one fly. Hyatt is also a great cutter on offense and has no issue finishing in and around the paint.

This kid is a solid two-way player who just gets after it. Confident. Plays with poise. Alexis is a hard-working individual who shows up and shows out. She is a solid defender who can cause havoc on the defensive end. Offensively, she is a sharpshooter who will let the ball fly from various spots on the floor. Don’t sleep on this young lady, as she has been improving every game she has played in.
