and they likely would’ve been asking that question after she either drained a deep three. Or carved up their defense on the way to the rim. The eastern Oklahoma guard is a top tier shooter, who has guided Quinton to a pair of State Tournament appearances. While also being a giant killer at last Tournament of Champions, with wins over 6A Edmond Memorial and 4A Glenpool. Safe to say there might be a bit of magic to Purdom’s sweet shooting abilities.

Quick shooting, strong off guard. Alexis was good for 6 points and 6 rebounds in the low scoring affair, her last game with her sister Bailey. Had added an intimidating protective face mask since I saw her at the Tournament of Champions. Was tremendous in that, especially in wins over Edmond Memorial and Glenpool. Averaged 12 a game this season, Quinton’s starting lineup sans Bailey was four juniors, so expect Alexis and a senior lady squad to be back next year.

Small town sharpshooter, who exploded onto the scene when helping tiny Quinton to back to back wins over bigger schools at the Tournament of Champions. Since then, she’s joined her older sister Bailey in scoring over 1,000 career points. Purdom has been a double digit scorer since her freshman year. Not only is she an efficient shooter from deep, she has ice in her veins. As some of her biggest scores come in the clutch for the Lady Savages. Expect to see her and her teammates back in the Big House for the third straight year and competing for the Class A State Championship.

Down the stretch, the junior could NOT miss. She single handily broke open the game with 8 straight points (then added a late free throw for good measure). A pair of three pointers, then a drive where she hit the breaks with a two foot stop and saw the defender slide by. Cold blooded player who finished with a team high 22 points on super impressive 5-7 shooting from three. Also led her squad in rebounds with 8 rebounds. Amazing clutch performance from the small town tournament, to cap a whirlwind two days for Class A squad.
