Schwerdtfeger was her usual do it all self for the Lady Warriors as she flirted with a triple double. Going for 10 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. If the Lady Warriors hadn’t let their foot off the gas in the final quarter and ran clock, she likely would’ve got it. She’s developed into an all around lead guard, handling pressure and setting up her teammates with ease. While still having her hard hat wearing, physical driving and rebounding ways.

Schwerdtfeger is part of the one-two senior punch that has propelled Adair to the second spot in the Class 3A rankings. She’s one of the top scorers in Oklahoma, especially because she can start the break herself with her rebounding. Very quality shooter from deep. Plays with a good change of pace on drives, while capable of being tough and strong around the rim. The Lady Warrior is signed with Northwestern Oklahoma State as a two sport standout in softball and basketball. But before she heads west to Alva, her play gives Adair a shot at winning gold.

The top of the scouting report for Schwerdtfeger will likely always revolve around her shooting ability. Which was prominently on display this weekend, with a variety of makes from deep spot ups to snatching ankles and hitting off the dribble. But it wasn’t just her shooting ability that caught the eye. She split the ballhandler responsibilities and had some good assists to the skilled forwards she plays with.
Then another important aspect for the future Lady Riverhawk, determined defense. Had a clutch moment with back to back steal and scores in the fourth against an out of state shoe company team. Then throughout the weekend, she was making hustle plays to contest shots in transition or getting onto the floor for loose balls. It’s hard to pinpoint a weakness in her game, especially with her smooth shooting.

A shooting guard that can take over a game by pointing together her own point run. I watched a game where she took over with tough physical drives either scoring the bucket or drawing the foul. Gives Adair a player that they can count on when you need a bucket to stop the run. Scores in what I call all 3 phases. Outside shot, mid-range game and get to the rim.

A shooting guard that can hit with the 3 or get to the gap for an open shot. The type of guard that is a match up problem for opposing teams as she is an excellent post player on the block. Hard nose player that crashes the boards and get you those extra possession with a offensive rebound.

The northeastern Oklahoma sharpshooter will be staying regional for her collegiate career. Schwerdtfeger pulled the trigger and will be a Lady Riverhawk of Northeastern State. She’s impressed this winter and spring, with a good all around game to go along with a strong shooting base. Northeastern State has done a quality job lately of locking up top Oklahoma talent. And the IDing and securing of the emerging Schwerdtfeger is another example of that.

The complete scoring guard capped a productive junior campaign with 22 points and 11 rebounds. The Lady Warriors were flying to start the game, and it was Schwerdtfeger at front of their attack. After a second quarter lull, they turned to her again. And she gave them a brief spark, scoring on post up attempts. Showing the complete scoring bag the junior has. She’s an impressive college prospect, that despite the bittersweet high school ending, looks set for strong grassroots campaign.

One of the bigger misses from previous rankings updates was the exclusion of the northeastern Oklahoma standout. She’s a shotmaker with a complete offensive game. Strong handle when it comes to creating space for threes. While also improving her pace and control when slashing to the rim, or stopping and popping in the mid-range. Has some grit and toughness to her when she battles for rebounds, especially on the offensive end. Along with flashes of creation skills as she has helped her sharpshooting Lady Warriors team be one of the higher scoring teams in Oklahoma.
Northeastern State offered earlier this year. Schwerdtfeger should be a popular name for regional colleges during this spring and summer.

This month the junior recently cleared 1,000 points for the Lady Warriors And a recent viewing indicates the sharpshooter is the ringleader of an Adair squad filled with snipers. Schwerdtfeger has on the ball capabilities, which helps produce good looks for her teammates. But her main calling card seems to be a knack for scoring. Has a good mid-range game. As she’s working on pushing it fast in transition or exploding in the halfcourt before coming to a smoother stop for pull ups. Battles for boards and putbacks as well as knocking down triples.
Also a successful softball player, the northeastern Oklahoma standout has put more focus on basketball and appears to be one of the more undervalued 2026 prospects in Oklahoma. In the 2010s, Adair was a regular at the Class 3A State Tournament, winning twice in 2014 and 2019. Last year saw a return trip for the Lady Warriors for the first time since 2020, but also a first round exit.
