The Lena native had a solid first season of high school basketball. However, Finger impressed me during camp season at The Expo. She excelled at finishing around the basket and showed the physicality to compete for position on both ends of the court. She also finished with both hands around the basket and has the touch to finish through contact. She’ll be a handful for small schools to defend.

Finger, coming off of a 10.9 ppg and 9.8 rpg freshman season, for Lena, was one of my top post players at The Expo. Strong and athletic, Finger’s length caused mismatches all afternoon as the defense struggled to stop her around the hoop as well as on the glass. It is easy to be excited for Lena’s upcoming season with Finger and fellow sophomore, 5-10 Ella Thomson Ella Thomson 5'10" | PF Lena | 2029 State WI returning for a team that only lost four games last season.

The Lena native is a player I don’t recall seeing before last weekend’s Expo in Appleton. I was impressed by how well she got up and down the floor as a post player. She was also excellent around the rim as a post scorer. She finished with both hands in the paint and should be one of the more impressive frontcourt players in small-school basketball this winter.
