PGH Wisconsin The Expo Team Five Evaluations: Part One

Over the next week or so, we will look at the high school players and highlight what they brought to the floor during the 5v5 portion of the event. We had over 80 players at the Expo, and we will highlight what each did to stand out in their minutes. I was impressed by how well she got up and down the floor as a post player. She was also excellent around the rim as a post scorer. Mitchell is a physical post who will initiate contact and make herself a handful for any defense. Brechtl is a confident kid who can knock down shots from beyond the perimeter when she's open. However, she can also handle the ball under pressure, turn the corner, and attack the defense. She is a well-rounded player who can help elevate any team she plays on. Healy boxed out well and competed defensively. She brought an edge to the floor and was willing to sacrifice for her team. Guerrero has poise and handles pressure well. She can create for herself and others and has the confidence to make plays off the dribble.
