About Alix
Expert Analysis
Danyle Bowers | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Alix, a 1st-team all-conference performer last season, is set for a standout senior year and already has several college offers, making her future one to watch. She thrives in competitive situations, using her strength and tenacity to disrupt passes and defend larger post players. Alix is vocal and organized on the floor, navigating screens effectively and staying locked in defensively. Her commitment to doing whatever it takes for her team’s success, combined with her skills as a guard, makes her a player to keep an eye on this season.

Alix doesn’t back down from a challenge, and she showed her physical toughness by denying entry passes against bigger forwards in the low post. Alix communicated constantly with her teammates on the court and did a great job defending through screens. She does everything to help the team succeed and is a West Michigan Crush guard to watch this spring.

Alix is the kind of player every coach wants on their team. She makes shots from all three levels, finds open teammates as the team’s court general, plays hard-nosed defense, and pursues rebounds. Alix earned First Team All-Conference honors this season and is a gritty guard that I’m excited to watch again this travel season.

Alix typically sets the standard for defensive effort and communication, but she showed her offensive firepower at The Expo on Saturday. Alix caught fire from beyond the arc and contributed many key 3s for her team. She crashed the boards to create extra scoring opportunities on the offensive end and verbally communicated with her teammates on the court. Alix had an outstanding day and earned All-Showcase Third Team Honors for her performance.

Alix had an excellent day for Team 4 at The Expo and had moments where she took over on the offensive end. Alix was feeling it from beyond the arc, hitting several triples from the wings and corners. Alix worked for an offensive rebound put back, communicated often on defense, and made the effort plays for her team.

Alix demonstrates leadership, toughness, communication, and skills that make her stand out as a next-level prospect. She battles with bigs in the post, pressures ball handlers, and communicates constantly with teammates. Alix hits shots from the perimeter, looks to create open shots for teammates, and drives hard to the basket. I look forward to seeing Alix have a great winter season for Greenville.
