About Alliaya

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my game as , up-tempo and controlled

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality is friendly (team focused) but aggressive when needed. I love the game but don't come on the court to be friends and can take charge when needed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Women Working on Women (WOW) Social Club

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership skills as evidenced by my recent article in the Chicago Tribune in which it makes note of my growth as a two year starting point guard on Waukegans' Varsity BB Team. I work at a summer food vending company where I handle the cash register collecting money from customers along with my brothers as a way to make money when not competing

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes - I've had to adjust to attending the same school as my older brother (who himself has started on the Boys Varsity BB Team as a 4 year starter for he past four years. I've learned alot from him but have had to adjust to just being his sister and tough expectations from both him and my family

What type of college are you looking for?

Any college (as I believe you make your future what it is). However my preference is a D1 school as I love Kentucky, UConn, SC and UCLA. I love watching BB period (men or women) and study the game and I also do scouting reports on teams and players that I have to match-up with before games.
