About Allie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I excel in a fast-paced style of play and am relentless. I love creating havoc on defense and have the ability to accelerate hard and be effective at all three levels of offense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Basketball has become one of the most defining parts of my life. It has taught me how to push past limits, stay disciplined, overcome adversity, strive for excellence, and remain grateful. I also pride myself on being an unselfish player who makes smart decisions and lifts up my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Off the court, I enjoy a wide range of activities, including soccer, reading, weightlifting, spending time with friends, studying the Bible, traveling, volunteering, baking, and playing with my dog. As a freshman, I earned Scholar of Distinction, High Honor Roll, and a silver medal on the National Spanish Exam.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being in a parochial school since Kindergarten, community service is a value that has been instilled in me since as long as I can remember. I've gone above and beyond in required service hours for my school each year, including volunteering at food banks, my church, and many other places in my community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In fifth grade, I was on my travel team’s C squad and had never heard of AAU basketball. By eighth grade, I earned a varsity letter in the toughest conference in Minnesota. As a 14-year-old freshman, I became the second-leading scorer on my varsity team and earned All-Conference honors. My story is already one of an underdog—often overlooked because I'm a late bloomer with a late start.

What type of college are you looking for?

In college, I hope to pursue a career in either finance or orthopedic medicine. I place a high value on academics and am especially drawn to schools with strong academic programs that will challenge me both in the classroom and on the court.
