was showing off her handles getting the open space no matter what it took. She showed off her own shooting hitting her shot from deep. She even had a four point play knocking down the tough deep shot from the corner and finishing it up from the free throw line. She was a tough on-ball defender keeping her opponent in front of her and making it difficult for them to get by her. She was sure to leave it all out on the court in her final high school game.

Sykes can really shoot the basketball. She can connect in transition, she can shoot in the half-court offense, and she knocks down nearly 40% of her shots from behind the three-point line. Sykes has a pretty outside shot and hunts open looks for her team. She is a talented and savvy player who knows when to shoot and when to get her teammates involved.

Sykes is a lights-out shooter. She is always shot-ready in the offense and in transition. Sykes can knock down a three off of a pass from a teammate or she can create space for her jumper. She has a smooth step-back move and the ability to get past her defender with a quick first step. Sykes handles the basketball well and is very good with an in-and-out move to get her defender off balance. Sykes is the ultimate competitor on the court, and she is a fantastic teammate ready for a special senior season on the court.

Allie Sykes handles the ball well, and she has some nice speed to push the tempo. She hits her teammates in stride as they cut to the basket threading the needle between her opponents. She moves well without the ball, especially being an outlet pass for her teammates after grabbing the rebound. Her ability to control the tempo is an asset as she knows when she can speed things up or slow it down.

Allie Sykes is a tough shooter all over the court even making it from midrange and beyond with someone closing out hitting her hands. She has a quick release that she uses to make defenders have to foul her to try to stop her from making her shot. Her quickness with the ball allows her to make one move and get by her defender crossing the ball over to attack the basket. She does well reading the floor knowing when to make the dish when defenders collapse around her.

Allie Sykes is a patient ball handler knowing how to move with the ball drawing her opponent away from her teammates to open up the court or waiting to make her move to create some space and put up her shot. She has the full range of moves with the ball, and her timing is exceptional knowing how and when to make her move in order to get an open look. She’s a three level scorer making sure she’s a threat all over the court.
