Alyssa carried the scoring load for Bartram Trail, leading all Bears with 19 points in their state semifinal appearance. She showcased elite conditioning and toughness, playing all 32 minutes while consistently putting pressure on the defense with her left-handed scoring ability. Even as the focal point of opposing game plans, Donohue found ways to create her own shot and get to the free-throw line, proving herself as a high-volume scorer who embraces the moment on the big stage.

Alyssa was the most lethal offensive threat on the floor for much of the evening, especially when she got the ball on the left side of the paint. She finished with a game-high 19 points, showing an ability to score at all three levels on 8-17 shooting. Her 32 minutes of play highlighted her importance to the Bears’ scheme; she was the primary playmaker that built Bartram’s lead. However, Bayside’s late-game defensive adjustments eventually made touches difficult for her in the closing minutes.

is one of the top seniors on the First Coast and a player who has quietly flown under the radar for much of the season. That changed quickly during the state tournament. Donohue and her team have taken down a No. 1 seed, a No. 2 seed, and a No. 3 seed on their way to this point, and her impact has been a major reason why. She brings excitement as a downhill slasher who can get to the rim and finish through contact. Donohue also shows good touch with a floater and has the ability to knock down perimeter shots, particularly in the midrange area. Quick, lengthy, and active, she rebounds well from the guard position and can even alter shots defensively. Donohue plays with energy on both ends of the floor and will be a player to closely watch this week.

has been on fire in the latter part of the season and into the playoffs. Donohue led her team to upset victories over the 1,2, and 3 seen in Class 6A. Donohue has the ability to get to the rim and finish through contact and at a high rate. In transition, she creates major problems for defenses because of her ability to go left or right, and she can finish with either hand. Donohue and her team have been on fire – she is the catalyst and will be a player to watch in the final four.

is equally as dangerous as Beyer and can get to the rim and slash up teams all game long. Donohue attacks the rim constantly and is also a specialist in transition. She reads the floor well and can fill the lane or take it coast to coast. Donohue also plays defense. She is sneaky at getting steals and is a very good shot blocker from the small forward position.

Upsets require disruption, and Alyssa delivered it. The long, anticipatory defender filled the stat sheet with 6 steals and 9 rebounds, adding 16 points in Bartram Trail’s 48–44 win over Navarre, a 6-over-3 seed statement. Her length shrinks passing windows, but it’s her instincts that truly change games. She reads eyes, jumps lanes without over-gambling, and turns live-ball steals into instant momentum. Just as critical, she finished possessions by securing defensive boards in traffic to close out stops in a four-point game.
Now it becomes a Jacksonville vs. Panhandle battle against 2-seed Niceville, who beat Bartram Trail 44–36 in December. If the Bears are going to flip that result, Alyssa’s defensive activity has to travel again. In what projects as another grind-it-out game, her ability to create extra possessions and control the glass could be the difference between staying home and punching a ticket deeper into the bracket.

is another player who thrives in the “grab and go” game. At 5’10, Donohue is long and can rebound the ball from the small forward and guard position. She is another player who turns defense into offense from a rebound or a steal. Donohue recently went over 1000 points, and her dominance in the transition game has been a huge part of the story. She rebounds and gets steals in passing lanes. From there, she grabs and goes and consistently gets buckets. She is one of the most versatile offensive players on the First Coast. She can shoot the three, shoot the midrange, and is dangerous in transition – especially on a grab-and-go sequence.

had been the catalyst at Bartram and can take great pride bringing that program back to its winning ways. In addition to being a game changer she has been a program changer and that’s what legends are made of. Donohue continues to climb the charts as her reputation grows. She is dangerous in the open court with a floater that’s deadly. She can also get to the rim and put the ball in basket the traditional way. Defensively, she is long and athletic. That’s a recipe for steals and blocked shots and that’s Donohue’s game to a “T”. She has served up many games with multiple blocked shots and some were game savers. Donohue is legacy loading for her final year. There is still work to be done before she heads off to play college ball.

AD is a threat to score it from every level and can finish with either hand. In Georgia, she knocked down the stepback three multiple times and used her dribble and length to score at the rim. She’s a fun player to watch on both ends of the floor who has a really good feel and anticipation for the game. Alyssa has now committed to East Stroudsburg (D2 in PA).
