is efficient with her handles getting to the basket with some nice spin moves creating her own space. She’s a knockdown shooter hitting a three in transition. Her quickness is such an asset on the offensive side as she makes great cuts backdoor to get the pass and bucket.

is a tough competitor on both ends of the court. She’s been known as a knock down shooter from deep being able to make it off the pass or use some shot fakes to get the open look and score off the dribble. She easily gets to the rim attacking the basket and finding the openings. She hustles after every loose ball, and she is a pesky defender getting her hands in the way as guards try to dribble by her.

knocked down her shot from around the arc sliding into the opening and making sure she could get an easy pass to her. Her off ball movements show her IQ as she knows how to attack the gaps and make the defense shift. She’s quick with the ball handling it under pressure on the way to the rim.

Alyssa Hankerson has had a fantastic season with 1 of 1 Prep this year, and she is certainly lighting the nets on fire with the way she can knock down her shots from around the arc. She does the work without the ball being able to shoot off the pass, and she can certainly go to work off the dribble attacking the basket to finish at the rim. She’s tough on defense, too, putting excellent full court pressure on her opponents.

Alyssa Hankerson was scoring on all levels getting back to back plays earning five points by showing off her range shooting the ball and attacking the basket off of shot fakes. She was automatic from deep in a tough matchup being ready to shoot the ball. Not only can she score on her own, but she can make the impact plays hitting her teammates in stride for some points.

let it be known Saturday that she is a force to be reckoned with. Her strength as a shooter is what sets her apart as she can score in droves. Her quick release allows her to get shots up in a hurry and defenders must get a hand in her face. However, even that may not be enough as she can shoot it right over the arms of defenders. She understands floor spacing and knows how to spot up in transition. If the defense attempts to crowd her, she has plenty of speed to attack the lane. Defensively, she will stay low and is very good at picking the pockets of her opponents, then leading the fast break in transition. Alyssa is well on her way to becoming a household basketball name in the state of North Carolina.

Alyssa Hankerson showed off her range shooting the ball. She got her hands involved knocking away the pass and grabbing the steal. She pushes the tempo up the court finding her open teammates for the fast break. She can take her own steal all the way up the court, too, scoring in transition.

Alyssa seems to find her name on the list of top shooters after nearly every event. The floor general is such a dynamic shooter and continues to shoot lights out at each and every game we find her at. She can knock the triple down from any and all angles. She can can shoot it off the dribble or off the catch. She can shoot it right in the face of much taller defenders. The situation doesn’t seem to matter as she can fluidly find a way to get bucket out of any situation.

Alyssa can shot the cover off the ball Saturday. She is a shooter’s shooter. She did a great job consistently knocking down shots from deep even had a play where she pulled up on the outstretched arm of a much bigger defender. She can also handle the ball well and has no problem leading the fast break in transition. She also played defense well and was able to use her active hands to cause turnovers.
