Her explosive offensive skills remain intact, allowing her to drive to the rim with ease and finish through contact. She’s also a reliable shooter, capable of making defenders pay if they close out late on her. On the defensive end, Amaia hasn’t missed a step—she’s a fierce competitor who takes pride in guarding any opponent.

Jones has been impressive throughout her third season at Eaglecrest, quick as a whole, especially productive while attacking downhill. Bringing in notably quick acceleration, the guard has benefitted from plenty of attempts at the basket, blowing by a wide variety of opponents off the rip. Although very quick with the ball, she does a great job finding shotmakers once the defense collapses. Despite only getting a brief opportunity this past season, she will be a must watch down the line.

being in and out of the lineup. She missed last season when she had an ACL injury but was able to come back this season and be a great scoring option for the team. In six games this season she was able to put up 10.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists a game before suffering an injury that kept her out for the rest of the year.

can bring to a team when she has the ball in her hands. The sophomore guard miss her freshmen season with an ACL but was able to come out and work her way into the rotation. With her being the primary ball handler for this 16U team she now has gotten her swagger back. Using her speed to get downhill and finish at the rim as well as knocking down the 3-ball at a high level.
