Amari is a competitive guard that lets her game do the talking. She gets after it on both sides of the ball and brings the energy no matter the tempo.

Kouame plays on both ends and can score at all three levels. She is effective in transition and stays composed against pressure. Defensively, she brings effort and physicality, making her tough to deal with on the perimeter. She will be fun to watch this season in AAU.

Kouame has been really active in her games lately. She’s becoming a 2-way menace that gives full energy and she’s pretty consistent in her efforts. Amari understands her job no matter the situation. What’s been nice is that her offense is starting to look more polished. Her shot has been coming along and even more explosive getting to the rim. Amari was an easy addition to this conversation.

Amari stood out with her two-way play, particularly on the defensive end where her instincts and active hands disrupt opposing offenses. She impressed at the Hoop Mountain showcase, shooting the ball well from deep, including makes from well beyond the arc. Amari also attacks the basket with strength, finishing through contact, and complements that with a reliable pull-up mid-range game.

Amari has great intuition and she process the game well. The 2-way play from Kouame can be highly influential. This isn’t a player that’ll take away from others in her production, rather Amari serves as a great fundamental piece to winning. She’s currently ranked #43 within the class.
