Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I'd describe my gameplay style as fast and instinctive. I'm a natural-born player who is continuously improving my ability to spot open players and areas on the court. I have a strong three-point shot and can drive to the basket with power and finish effectively. Additionally, I excel in quick decision-making and maintaining a high level of energy throughout the game, making me a versatile player.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have a strong 'go-getter' mentality both on and off the court. When faced with obstacles, I tackle them head-on with determination and passion, always giving my best effort. I thrive under pressure and remain focused on my goals, never backing down from a challenge. My resilience and drive to succeed are key aspects of my personality, making me a relentless and motivated individual in any aspect
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am currently starting my freshman year and hope to find and join clubs that I will enjoy, such as SGA and FCCA.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have developed and am continuously developing strong leadership skills, having served as captain of my club and school teams over the past few years. I am working on breaking out of my shell to become an even more effective leader both on and off the court, as I now realize many of my teammates look up to me. I am deeply committed to teamwork and believe in thriving together as a unit!
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Playing on my new AAU basketball team with guys has been a challenge because I’ve had to adjust to a new game style and be even tougher. At first, I was hesitant, but it has helped me. I thrived anyway, dropping double-digit points in many of my club games this season against boys, and I won tournament MVP and team MVP a few times.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a good 4-year university where I can have great experiences both on and off the court. I hope this is a university that will let me embrace my opportunities and showcase my talents. Also not only for basketball success but, most importantly, for educational success.
