The evolution of Amelia’s game has been fun to watch. We knew she was putting in the work behind the scenes in prior seasons; we were just waiting for that to pay off in game situations. The wait ended this winter as Amelia has evolved into something special. She is the second-leading scorer on the state’s top-ranked Class 3A squad ands she’s third in rebounds, steals and assists. Her confidence in key moments has been impressive as she has become more even-keeled. Schwendimann has length, athleticism and a shooter’s touch, all attributes needed to succeed at the next level. She rises 40 places to #68.
