is as good as they come when we speak of all-around players. She can play either guard position. Her ability to attack the rim and finish through contact shows her toughness and awareness. Price can also hand out assists like a traditional point. There isn’t much Price cannot do on the hardwood if anything.

dominated at the Louisiana Expo. Price consistently made great outlet passes leading to scores. Her offensive skill set is off the chart. She breaks down defenders and scores from all areas of the court. One play price shifted her defender and finished a tough reverse layup.

is the top point guard in Louisiana. She is a smooth ball handler who consistently beats her opponent off the dribble to create scoring opportunities. She has excellent passing vision and passes players open. Her defensive instincts are amazing, as she lives in passing lanes and picks ball handlers clean. She had a great summer this year as she picked up several offers.

Price grabbed my attention from afar as I was thinking”did I really see that” so I adjusted my seating and posted. up on her court to watch her show what it means to simple take a game over. Her acrobatic finishes after contact was special, so was her pull-up jumper on the baseline as she dropped it with a hand in her face. Her “on the ball” pressure was smothering and her ability to see the floor, the length of the floor, floored me

had an outstanding high school season leading Woodlawn BR to their first championship appearance in school history. She averaged 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Amijah’s combined shifty handles and passing ability allows her to dominate on the offensive end. She gets to the rim at ease and has a nice pull up jumper. On defense she stays in the passing lanes and creates plenty of turnovers

Bursting on the Baton Rouge girls hoop scene Amijah was by far the the talk of the tourney, “who’s the girl from Woodlawn” she immediately makes Woodlawn high a contender.

Was she the best player in the gym? A lot of people would say, yes. I had a couple of the JUCO coaches on hand to tell me that, “she maybe the best player in the ’25 class.” So basically, Amijah didn’t disappoint anyone at the Fab 50.She just has things instinctively you can’t teach. She does things with a ball in her hand that’s not scripted (no cone work). Nobody was able to stay in front of her at the Fab 50. She got to the rim whenever she wanted to making all types of crazy acrobatic lay ups. She may have broken a finger or two with the bullet passes she threw! Improving her jumper off the bounce will be her biggest thing going forward and staying in shape to continue to play the passing lanes like she does. Look for her to have a breakout season at Woodlawn High this year.
