She ignited the fast break and kept her head up in transition, while also being on target from deep, knocking down several three-pointers on the night. Reed is a talented player all the way around but impressed me most with her shooting ability. Amirah has deep range on her jump shot and thrived in the catch and shoot on Sunday. I had not seen Amirah play before camp and she left me with a strong impression due to her ability to score the ball with efficiency and her willingness to guard other good players.

Amirah is a natural scorer and a volume 3-point shooter with substantial range. She had several high-scoring affairs, including 26 points with 6 triples against St. Patrick, 25 points with 5 triples versus Bracken County, and 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 triples against Augusta. Amirah can completely take over a game and demands the defense’s attention when she is on the floor.

She makes the best decisions for her team and she plays the game under control.
