After coming off a productive AAU season Amirah proceeded to have a breakout senior season! The region 4B player of the year who averaged 18 points 6 assists 4 rebounds and 3 steals per game. She ran the show elevating her scoring to the next level. She picked up two offers late January and her team came up one game short from a state champion appearance. A good point guard with a lot of upside and may get strong D1 consideration in this late signing period!

Amirah had a great championship game in the Coaches for Change tournament! She was the tourney MVP as she lead her team to a 56-52 over Glen Allen . She scored 21 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assist!

Confident lead guard, controls tempo of game and reads defenses well. She is a scoring point guard that looks for her shots within the flow of the game while also getting her teammates involved. Had an efficient 23-point night in a win against Glen Allen. Attacks hard downhill and has great body control in the lane making several nice high arching floaters combined with her smooth stroke from outside.

Amirah had a nice buzz around her this AAU season stepping up on her team as the second leading scorer. Does a nice job of putting the ball on the floor and looking to attack the defense. Is poised with the ball in her hands and is able to push the ball in transition. Good defender that can tough buckets for timely scores from all over the floor.

Amirah continues to improve every season. Her ball handling skills are tight, and she is an excellent passer. She has range from well behind the three-point line and can finish through contact in the lane. She is still a menace on defense with her on-ball pressure, and instincts in the passing lanes.

Amirah looks poised to have a big high school season. She can move seamlessly between both guard spots and can go get a bucket when necessary. She has deep range on her three-point shot and has a killer pull up jumper. She is an exceptional athlete with great hang time and upper body strength which helps her finish through contact.
