Amya Graham does a nice job getting inside crashing boards following shots on both ends. She sees the floor well knowing how to move to the openings, and she knows what her next move is including coming up to set screens for her teammates. She has an arsenal of post moves that she can use to score on the block, and she scores well right off the pass or off the dribble.

When playing in a seventh place consolation game in a midseason tournament, the goal is to conclude what was an otherwise rough time on a high note. Graham did just that for her Red Raiders as they earned a 62-41 victory to prevail over York Prep. Graham finished with 24 points to pave South Point’s path to victory. It appeared as is whenever one of her Red Raiders teammates found her close to the basket, she was an automatic bucket as the Patriots defense had no answers for the star frontcourt player. Even though she is listed as a four on South Point’s roster, she played much of the game more like a traditional five. The next time we see the phrase “walking double-double” in a physical or online dictionary, Graham’s face should appear.

Amya is a relentless when going for loose balls and rebounds. Second chance efforts is something she brings a team day in and day out with her effort and timing. Solid finisher in the post, she doesn’t need a lot of touches or plays called for her to contribute. She sticks to her strengths and doesn’t do many uncharacteristic things with the ball in her hands, taking care of the ball most possessions. Look for her to put up similar numbers like 17 points and 14 rebounds per game next year as she did this previous season with her activity and awareness.

Amya Graham Amya Graham 6'0" | SF South Point | 2025 State NC came right in each game ready to show off some post moves. She made her moves easily on the block sealing off her opponent and scoring her points. She was a nice target for her teammates on in-bounds plays getting the open look to score some points, and she rebounded well on both ends of the court. It seemed like she was consistently scoring three point plays as she battled through contact and finished from the free throw line.

Even though Team Griggs 2025 concluded this year’s Peach Games with a 4-0 record, things looked precarious for coach Tijuan Griggs’ bunch in the first game they played which was at Lithia Springs HS. They trailed JSI Elite 2025 by a score of 30-22 at the half only to rally for its first win. Graham managed to keep her team in the game throughout the first half. She finished with 18 points – including 12 of the 22 Team Griggs 2025 had at the half. JSI Elite 2025 had very few answers for Graham as she not only displayed her interior presence, but also her ability to play the game on contact as well as handle the ball amongst a sea of opposing defenders.

Where her teammate Kayleigh Richard Kayleigh Richard 5'6" | PG Charlotte Catholic | 2025 NC led the backcourt efforts, Graham was too much for Capital City Tyrants 16U to handle in the frontcourt. Graham put together a 24-point performance in what was one of the more offensive-minded contest of the first day. She will prepare to box out in case of a missed free throw by an opponent. Graham also will display the ball handling capabilities of a guard while traditionally playing as a big. She will look to find spacing in the interior and also excels as a rebounder. Graham can also convert on many a tough attempt from the field.
