As a 3 sport player, the best way to describe Amyiah’s game is “athlete.” At times yesterday, it looked like she was the only player on the floor who wasn’t tired. Her speed is an asset and she often used it to stretch the floor in transition, or to cut across the baseline leaving her defender wondering where she went. As she continues to develop her shooting touch, she will be a nice addition to the rotation at Boiling Springs High School.

Not to be confused with the Amiyah Ferguson that was a 2023 graduate from 2A Timberland, this is a 2030 that is solidifying a young nucleus at 5A Boiling Springs. She is a multi-sport athlete who also plays flag football in addition to what she is getting accomplished on the basketball court. Volleyball is another sport she plays. Ferguson has played her grassroots basketball with Lady Angels and recently wrapped up a solid middle school career at Boiling Springs MS. The Bulldogs team Ferguson will be joining won 12 games last season – the team’s highest win total since the 2018-19 season when Boiling Springs was in the win column on 15 of 24 tries.
