Gracie powered through a physical game tonight on her way double digit scoring for Boiling Springs. She was able to use her length and athleticism to split multiple defenders and finish over the top multiple times. She runs the floor great and has soft hands around the rim. Any successful team needs consistency from both its backcourt and its frontcourt. Darville can provide that in the interior for Boiling Springs. Darville averaged 7.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game last season. What makes her particularly difficult to game plan for is her ability to play as either a guard or a forward. When she is in a team’s lineup as a guard, she has an advantage over her peer guards with her height, and her length can disrupt an opposing team’s passing lanes.
