I did not get a chance to see Ana play before she went down with ACL injury last year, but had heard a lot of good things about her and her game. After several games now watching Redline and seeing her at team camp you can see what the fuss was about. She is still coming back and getting comfortable on the court, but she is a smooth lefty who has shot the ball at a very high percentage from three in the games that I have seen this year and she also does an excellent job sprinting out on the break where she is often rewarded with uncontested layups. Anzola is a more than capable ball handler who can run an offense, but her biggest strength is putting the ball in the basket. Physically, she definitely knows where the weight room is and finishes well through contact.

Ana is a player that I have heard a lot of good things about from people I respect around the game. She was playing excellent before being derailed by a major injury which caused her to miss this year’s season with South Forsyth. She made good impressions early and they came more often as the game extended and she began to assert herself more on the offensive end. Anzola hit a pair of three point shots from each wing, got to the basket and finished on the fast break multiple times, and did a nice job penetrating the defense and getting into the painted area. She showed very good anticipation skills on defense which allowed her to get deflections and steals throughout the game for Redline. She was an efficient and effective scorer with the basketball in her hands. I look forward to seeing her play again this weekend.

Anzola is a pure scorer. A player that knows how to create her own shot from anywhere on the floor. Gets out in transition and scores easy buckets. Always in scoring and attack mode.

Anzola is a true workhorse on both ends of the floor. I called her a walking bucket as her field goal percentage on the day was close to perfect. A player that can score at all 3 levels and not afraid to guard all the positions on the floor. High IQ player that showed her ability to read the defense and just take what was given. Look for her to be in contention for one of the top players in the class of 2028 this upcoming year.

Polished lefty scores from all three levels. Uses her body well when getting to the hoop, able to absorb contact. Lights it up from beyond the arc off the catch.
