Angela delivered an outstanding performance Friday night, securing a triple-double with 42 points, 16 rebounds, 10 steals, and shooting 4/7 at the three-point line. She has exceeded 1000 points in her career, she leads in points, assists, steals and rebounds per game.

Angela has been a force on her team, leading in points, rebounds, blocks, assists, and steals per game. She shattered the school records for points and rebounds per game with a monster performance of 50 points, 29 rebounds, 12 assists, and 8 steals, adding to the rebound record she set last year. Just days later, on January 30, she topped her own scoring record with 53 points and 24 rebounds.

Ypsilanti Arbor Prep has a rich history of MHSAA postseason success, with many talented college prospects coming through their program over the years. Angela etched her name in the school’s history books and added to her legacy with a record-shattering week. She broke the Arbor Prep single-game scoring and rebounding record with 50 points, 29 rebounds, 14 assists, and eight steals in a 96-13 win vs. Ann Arbor Central Academy. Angela broke her own scoring record in the next game with 53 points in a 72-27 win vs. Detroit University Prep Art and Design. She added 24 rebounds, six steals, and two assists. Angela is a three-time state champion and an All-State honoree. She is the PGH x Foster Swift Sports Player of the Week for Jan. 25th-31st.

Ypsilanti Arbor Prep has graduated many talented college prospects over the years, which makes Angela’s recent feat even more impressive. She set the Gators’ single-game scoring record with 50 points in a 96-13 win against Arbor Prep Central Academy. Angela showcased her talent to our scouts down south at the PGH Expo in Georgia and left quite the impression. Her high motor, downhill scoring abilities, perimeter shooting, and physicality were separators. Angela is a 2x state champ and one of the top unsigned combo guard-forward prospects still available.

Angela was a driving force for Arbor Prep last season, earning First Team All-State honors after a dominant junior campaign. She led her team in nearly every major category, averaging 18.6 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 2.7 steals per game while setting the tone with her consistency and competitiveness. When the lights were brightest, Angela delivered—scoring a team-high 11 points in the state championship game to help secure the title. With her combination of strength, skill, and leadership, she’ll be a key piece once again as Arbor Prep looks to defend its crown this season.

All the way down from Michigan, I loved Angela’s mindset in a foreign land. The goggled lefty is a physical wing that can get downhill through traffic but also is a solid outside shooter. Her motor led to second and third chances on the glass. She was smooth when scoring off the dribble. D-II & D-III schools should investigate. Bethany Lutheran College & Albion College have offered. I think she would be quite attractive to schools down south.

Meggisson stood out all the way from Michigan. A player that was always around the basketball whether it was 3v3 or 5v5 games. Her ability to pressure and get in the passing lanes created turnovers for her team. Always running the floor and being in scoring position. She was a game changer for her team averaging a double double on the day.

Angela was the MVP for Arbor Prep in both games at the Breslin Center. She started with a determined double-double that helped the Gators chomp their way to victory vs. Brandywine. Angela scored 12 points with 11 rebounds and knocked down two clutch free throws in the closing seconds to seal the win. In the finals, Angela gave Arbor Prep another double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds as the Gators defeated Lutheran Northwest. She climbed our rankings in the latest update.

Angela was a menace on the glass in the first half, securing several offensive rebounds and 11 total. She scored an offensive rebound putback, backdoor layup, beat defenders with a hard drive to score a contested finish off two, and added another downhill layup off two feet. Angela caused a foul in the final moments and converted two clutch free throws to send Arbor Prep back to the State Finals with a 31-29 victory. She led the Gators with a double-double effort of 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Angela drove past defenders with a burst and seemed to get herself to the rim whenever she wanted on Saturday at the Laker MLK Classic. She used drop steps to score a contested floater and a strong finish through contact. Angela beat her defender off the dribble baseline to score off two feet and swiped the ball away to score another layup. Angela outworked defenders to secure an offensive rebound and finished the putback. She swatted a shot away with a quick closeout and knocked down free throws. Angela turned in a complete performance for the Gators with 22 points and 12 rebounds to help defeat a solid opponent.
