Elliana was in peak form during Clarkston’s District 27 semifinals victory on Wednesday. She ended the first quarter with a trademark volleyball line three that everyone in the building had to have known was going in. One buzzer beater wasn’t enough, so Elliana caught a pass on the wing, ripped the ball hard to split the gap, and drained a long pull-up jumper to end the second quarter. She penetrated the defense off the dribble to score layups, caused fouls, and got teammates easy looks at the basket. Elliana absorbed hard contact on a drive, kept her dribble, spun, and dished a great bounce pass into the post for an assist. She knocked down multiple mid-range pull-up jumpers, crashed the glass on both ends, and chased down rebounds. Elliana made a great bounce pass with her left hand to hit a teammate in stride for a layup. She walled up on a drive to force a miss without fouling and converted both free throws at the line. Elliana led all scorers with 22 points and added three three-pointers.

Elliana has been nothing short of magnificent for Clarkston. After leading the Wolves to an OAA Red Division title as a Junior (9-1), Ellie wasted no time getting Clarkston off to a hot start as a senior. She led the team to a 3-0 record in week one, producing 76 points (85% FT%), 12 steals, 11 rebounds, and nine steals to win Prep Girls Hoops x Foster Swift Sports Player of the Week. She made 13 of 14 free throws to seal the win against Northville. Elliana passed 1,000 career points in December and set a new single-game scoring record with 43 points (5 3PT) during a win vs. Oxford. Elliana poured in 36 points during a win vs. Lake Orion and led the team with 18 points in a win vs. West Bloomfield. Against a tough Midland opponent, Elliana led the Wolves with 26 points, shooting a perfect 7 of 7 from the charity stripe, while sinking five three-pointers. Clarkston defeated Northville, Lutheran Northwest, Detroit Country Day, West Bloomfield, Detroit Edison, and Stoney Creek, winning their second-straight OAA Red Division title (8-2). Elliana graduates as one of the most prolific scorers and deadly three-point shooters in the state. Her fierce competitiveness, toughness, refusal to lose mentality, sharp handles, court vision, perimeter range, and advanced fundamental skills have been exciting to watch over the past few years.

Elli, a senior guard for Clarkston, has played a key role in guiding her team to a 12–6 record this season. When she gets going from behind the arc, she can change a game in a hurry, showcasing college-ready range that forces defenses to extend well beyond the three-point line. Her scoring ability stretches the floor and creates space for her teammates to operate. On the defensive end, Elli uses her length to her advantage, disrupting passing lanes and coming away with numerous steals while consistently playing strong, disciplined defense. Her two-way impact and senior leadership have been instrumental in Clarkston’s success this year.

Elliana couldn’t have had a better start for Clarkston. Her dominance in all three games helped the Wolves to a perfect 3-0 record. Elliana put up 26 points, six steals, four rebounds, and four assists in a 63-40 win vs. D3 State-runner-up Lutheran Northwest. She followed that up with 28 points, four steals, three assists, and three rebounds in a 68-48 win at Brighton. Elliana poured in 22 points with four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in a 52-48 win against defending KLAA West champs, #12 Northville. She converted 13 of 14 from the charity stripe to secure the victory. Elliana finished the week with a staggering 76 points (85% FT%), 12 steals, 11 rebounds, and nine assists. Elliana is on pace to surpass 1,000 career points within the week, and she is Michigan’s Dec. 8th-13th Player of the Week.

Ellie does not back down from a challenge, and she stepped up again for Clarkston during tough matchups at the LBI Mitten Opening. Ellie is a fiery competitor, and her effort to win every play, battle for loose balls, and grab rebounds left a lasting impression. She buried three-pointers with confidence, finished in transition, dished an outstanding extra pass off the dribble for an assist, and scored a strong and-one offensive rebound put-back with her left.

Ellie is well known for her deadly three-point accuracy, and she’s a fiery competitor on the court. Ellie zips the ball to open teammates and doesn’t shy away from contact when she takes the ball downhill to the rim. She’s an unsigned prospect who could light it up at The Expo.

Elliana has a smoking gun 3-point shot, but she showed her ability to do more than shoot at the Laker MLK Classic. Elliana tossed a long assist to a sprinting teammate for a transition layup, grabbed an offensive rebound to score a putback, and added steals on the defensive end. She fooled her defender using a fake-pass move twice for layups and made a backdoor cut to catch and finish a left-handed layup. She hit free throws, a smooth pull-up jumper from the free throw line, and a straightaway triple. Elliana tallied 19 points in a Clarkston win.

Elliana was very aggressive and active on the court for Clarkston on Sunday. She attacked hard through defenders using her dribble to convert a tough left layup off two feet and drilled a smooth straightway 3 off the dribble. Elliana was very animated and vocal on the court with her teammates, which produced a competitive energy for her team.
