In their last contest of the season, PG – Aniya Hardee Aniya Hardee 5'8" | CG Bedford | 2027 IA of Bedford tied for the lead with the total number of Assists on the year with 149. Hardee hit this number to tie Spirit Lakes’ starting PG – Hayden Kuhlmann Hayden Kuhlmann 5'6" | PG Spirit Lake | 2027 State IA . Being the top assist leader in the state means a few things. As an individual it means that you have elite vision, you can hit an open teammate with a simple pass, and you are always looking for the others around you off of the dribble. It also means that your teammates are finish those simple assists, which doesn’t always happen in most situations. You have to give your hats off to Hardee and Kuhlmann honestly. Anyone who can lead the state in total Assists for an entire season, can play at some level in college once they graduate. Where exactly? That is debatable but somewhere for sure.

Aniya Hardee Aniya Hardee 5'8" | CG Bedford | 2027 IA of Bedford High School has been dishing out the rock at such a rate that it’s hard to believe. Hardee is averaging 9 Rebounds and 7.5 Assists per game throughout their first eight contests. When you look into Hardee, her past film, and what she has put together this year – you’d think she is a natural PG but at times she does compete from that Wing spot, having some major success in more ways than one as we can obviously see. If Bedford wants to win more contests over the next three months, they are going to need more of this out of Hardee. If she consistently stays around these numbers all Winter long, it’s going to be a conversation when the year comes to a close because that would be impressive to say the least.
