Crittenden County is favored to bring home another 5th District Championship, but Anna’s sights are set much higher: a 2nd Region title and a trip to Rupp Arena.

In her junior season, Anna led Crittenden County with 14.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, helping guide the team to a district title and a run to the regional championship game. A left-handed guard with good positional size, she has the ability to create her own shot and score from all three levels. Anna also does a solid job of getting her teammates involved and provides serviceable defense on the other end.

She had an outstanding sophomore season at Crittenden County. Anna averaged 22 points, 5.5 rebounds, and put up impressive shooting splits of 42/42/80. Boone is a player that I had not personally seen before yesterday and she left me very impressed with her overall game. A tall guard who can play on or off the ball, Anna showed that she can change pace and direction well. She was also a willing defender and rebounder who matched up with the likes of Sayler Lowe Sayler Lowe 6'0" | SG Calloway County | 2026 State KY multiple times and more than held her own.

One of the best pure scorers in the Sophomore class, Boone goes from 55th to 43rd in this update and could honestly be under-ranked just because of geography (it’s hard to see players from far west KY). Anna could have a big AAU season for Kentucky Dream and start racking up offers with her scoring ability.

Anna Boone Anna Boone 5'11" | SG Crittenden County | 2026 State KY had a phenomenal sophomore season for Crittendon County High School. She led the team in scoring with 22 PPG and finished the season in the top 20 for scoring leaders in the state. Anna has “big time” scoring ability and can deliver from anywhere on floor. She is also a reliable free throw shooter that shot an impressive 80.2% from the line converting 215 out of 268 of her attempts. Anna eclipsed 1000 career points, was named 2nd region player of the year, and led the Lady Rockets to a 2nd Region All A Classic championship.
