Anna Raymond
About Anna
Expert Analysis
Johnny Vick | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
A 5’9” guard with a strong, well-built frame, she plays bigger than her size. Her physicality and downhill, attacking style allow her to slide up and play the small forward position in systems like a 3-out, 2-in offense.
She’s an effective perimeter shooter, but she is at her best when attacking the basket. She embraces contact at the rim and consistently finishes through defenders, often converting and-one opportunities. Off the ball, she shows a strong understanding of spacing—cutting at the right times and filling gaps to create easy scoring chances.
Coaches, this is a player who had a productive summer last year but missed the school season due to a foot injury. Because of that absence, Anna is currently flying under the radar—but she has the skill set and toughness that makes this 2027 worth giving a look

Raymond has an unorthodox shooting form. But she’s still one of the more efficient shooters in Oklahoma. Especially as she shoots the ball with quickness. Along with the strong perimeter shooter, she’s a battler overall. Plays strong around the rim, on both ends of the court. A bet on production player, as she was a key contributor for Pryor as a sophomore. And has shown the clutch gene and more with her grassroots program.

Small forward that plays has a strong physical presence in her game. Quick shot off the catch and shoot. Shooter that can get hot in a hurry from the 3. Excels in a 5 out set tallowing her to cut and move without the ball. Good hands on the cut that goes up strong absorbing the contact for the And 1 finishes. On the low block she is very crafty in getting the space needed to finish the scoring opportunities. Good reads off the block when double kicking the ball to the opposite wing to a shooter

Versatile forward, who must be accounted for in the mid-range and from beyond the arc. She’s produced all year long thanks to that shooting ability and tenacity. In a win on Tuesday, she poured in 27 points, while also grabbing 11 boards vs Tulsa Memorial. That brought Pryor to 11-4 on the year and into a tie for second in District 4. Now the Lady Tigers will host their own tournament, a chance for more hardware and momentum as they battle to host a 5A Regional.
