The player that stood out last night right away was Anna Timmons Anna Timmons 6'0" | SF Assumption | 2027 IA of Assumption because of her mixture of size, athletic ability, and coordination. Timmons is still putting things together as an overall competitor but she makes some really sound plays when her team needs a bucket. She is versatile enough to play inside-to-outside on the offensive end and she can switch on the defensive end between guarding several different positions. (Basically the 2-5 at this point.) With Timmons’ natural height and the way that she can move down the court, it’s not crazy to think that this is someone who will finish out their high school career and compete at the college level at some form. When her team needed something to happen yesterday, this is who they looked to at the Forward position and she didn’t disappoint, even though her team fell short in the end.
