Foster does her best work around the paint area. Annabella plays the game with a blue-collar mindset. She’s always in position to hit the glass on both ends of the floor. Annabella works the paint area while working for position to carve out space down low.

Foster plays active on both ends of the floor and stays productive. Annabella plays the game aggressive at all times. She can knockdown the short jumper from time to time.

Foster took to the court for Blacksburg in 15 contests last season. With Foster healthy again, one can only imagine how it will help her team’s outlook this season. Defensively, she can gather steals and offensively she understands how to put the ball through the basket. Combining her 5-foot-10 frame with her length makes her a threat to reject shots as a defender. Combining those two attributes also make her a threat to grab rebounds. Foster has also participated in track and field events throughout her athletic career. Unfortunately for the Wildcats, she got hurt five days prior to the postseason, but the team should expect even more wins this coming season if she is available from start to finish.

Foster, unfortunately, was injured in Blacksburg’s first-round AA playoff game last season against Eau Claire. A healthy Foster is sure to pay major dividends for the Wildcats in 2022-23. Foster, who also has excelled in the track and field realm, stands at 5-foot-10 and is a ferocious rebounder. She can play virtually any of the three frontcourt positions. Defensively, she is difficult to score as her length combined with her height make her a threat to reject shots. Foster also will come away with steals in addition to putting points on the board. She played in 15 matchups last season for Blacksburg.
