About Annie
Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Annie is a D1 golf prospect (Western Michigan) whose powerful 6-foot stature makes a huge impact for Plymouth in the post. She runs the floor well in transition, converts shots efficiently around the basket off two feet, works hard to secure rebounds, and protects the paint as a shot blocker. Annie will face her toughest assignment to date: slowing down Michigan’s #1 big. If she can, Plymouth will be very competitive.

Annie is a powerful forward prospect from Plymouth who hasn’t played AAU, so it’s possible some college programs missed her. Annie has excellent footwork inside, runs the floor to score in transition, and finishes with strength around the basket. She’s a 6-footer who could definitely draw attention from college coaches at The Expo.

Annie is a front-court prospect who is on many radars after a breakout Junior season and she had a noteworthy day at the Plymouth Summer League. She beat a double-team on the block to catch and score a layup. Annie used a strong seal to pin her defender, got the edge with a forward pivot, and finished the layup off two feet. Annie runs the floor well and scored transition layups. She’s an outstanding golf and basketball prospect at Plymouth.

Annie is an elite golfer and also an outstanding basketball prospect. She has the length, strength, finishing ability, footwork, and defensive impact to play next-level basketball. Annie can take over games–she scored 24 points vs. Salem and Novi. I expect her to move up from All-Conference HM to All-Conference outright next season

Quite frankly, Annie was the most dominant front-court prospect at 3-Phase, and it didn’t matter who defended her. She scored layups and putbacks off two feet at will the entire day. Annie pinned defenders on her back with strong seals in the paint and finished them off with drop steps or step-throughs. Annie protected the rim fiercely, blocking several shot attempts, and rebounded the ball at a high clip. She had a phenomenal day for Plymouth at the event and is an under-the-radar post prospect full of next-level potential.
