The steady progression of Annika Nelms Annika Nelms 5'11" | PF Southwest | 2026 NE over the past two Varsity seasons has been noticeable and I can only imagine that her goal for her Junior season will be to do even better. Nelms is a 5’11 Forward, that is agile in her movements for her size. I use that term often because it helps people understand that the prospect moves well for their size, even though they might be taller than your average individual. In this case, Nelms has demonstrated some solid gameplay as well, while averaging 4.3 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and 1.5 APG during her 2023-2024 campaign. Competing alongside Nelms is her sister and they make quite the duo. I’m excited to see how they do this Winter, coming back to Southwest High School once again.
