About Annsley
Expert Analysis
Brittany Magee | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Trivette capped off a historic career with a dominant senior season, earning VHSL Class 3 Player of the Year honors for the second straight year while leading Abingdon to its first-ever state championship. The 6’3″ NC State signee is a physically imposing and fundamentally sound forward who consistently controls the game around the rim, finishing through contact and drawing fouls at a high rate. She delivered in the biggest moments, including a 25-point, 15-rebound performance in the state final and a 34-point outing in the semifinals. Beyond scoring, her impact extends across the stat sheet, as she rebounds at a high level, protects the rim, and facilitates when needed. Finishing her career with 2,411 points and 1,074 rebounds, Trivette’s production, consistency, and ability to elevate her team separate her as one of the most decorated and impactful players in Class 3.

has been dominant for Abingdon this whole run to a state title. The NC State commit carried Abingdon in the semis, and she filled the stat sheet in the final. Annsley is so fundamentally sound, and she uses her size to get what she wants around the rim. Every time she was in the paint, it seemed like she either scored or was fouled. There were a couple of plays in the first half that she finished where I honestly thought she was fouled, and they weren’t called. She finished with 25 points. 14 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Trivette enters the Class 3 state final as one of the most dominant players on the floor. The NC State signee combines strength, size, and versatility to impact the gam both inside and on the perimeter. Trivette delivered a standout 34-point performance in Abingdon’s 62-49 state semifinal win over Hopewell, repeatedly breaking through the defense and scoring from multiple areas on the court. She can power through defenders in the paint but also stretch defenses with her perimeter scoring ability. Her scoring runs throughout the postseason have consistently helped Abingdon maintain control of games.

Another standout player in the class of 2026; 6’1 forward, Annsley is a formidable presence for the Abingdon Falcons. Annsley can hit the outside shot or attack off the bounce and uses her strength to power between defenders to finish through contact in paint. Utilizes good footwork in the paint and establishes great position. She is an aggressive rebounder, good passer and all around highly skilled player. This sophomore standout holds multiple division 1 offers and already reached the 1000pt milestone earlier this month.

Good size at 6’1 strong forward who is a force presence at both ends of the floor. Annsley rebounds the ball well and scores on the interior at a high level. This season you can tell her game started to grow, towards the end of the AAU season she looked more like a wing than a forward. Love her ability impact the game in a wide variety of ways and I wont be surprise if she play the wing at the next level.

Listed at 6’1 but with her frame she looks and plays even taller than that! Has a really overall good skill set with good length. A very versatile player that has a really good upside, with her potential I won’t be surprised if she moves out to the wing! Her great showing earned her 3 scholarship offers this week!
